Job Description Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Applications Engineer to lead the applications and customer support team for our High-Speed connectivity products. This role will enable the candidate to work closely with leading car manufacturers and Tier-1s across the world to develop their next gen ADAS and Infotainment platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for successful integration of Aviva Links solutions into customer end products in Automotive markets, all the way from project start to mass production
  • Work with Marketing and field sales teams to secure new design wins by providing technical expertise and insights into the customer applications and requirements for their next gen platforms
  • Be the go-to person and key technical resource for customers, provide hands on support through the design in process, answer application related questions, solve issues and drive the bring up activities
  • Perform failure analysis and work with customers on debugging and identifying design/manufacture/ATE related issues
  • Reviewing and creating content for technical documentation such as: datasheets, user guides, application notes, whitepapers, and customer presentation material
  • Support the design and layout of evaluation boards and reference designs, both for internal use and characterization, as well as for customer demos and evaluation
  • Develop firmware, automated tests and GUI needed for system level testing and complete evaluation of features, functionality, and customer use cases
  • Support the specifications and set up for EMI/EMC testing at external labs based on automotive standards
  • Create training material and provide in-depth technical training to FAEs and customer engineers worldwide
  • Travel within the US and globally to engage with key partners, Tier-1s and OEMs, support bring ups and provide training
Minimum Qualifications
  • BSEE required, with at least 5+ years of experience
  • Solid understanding of EE fundamentals and analog/digital electronics
  • Prior experience with system integration of Digital Video or High-speed SerDes solutions
  • Strong knowledge of board level RF/baseband/digital circuit design
  • Previous experience with RF and other lab equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer, Logic Analyzer, VSA, Network Analyzer, and Oscilloscope
  • Previous experience with high-speed serial communications and Industry standard interfaces like CSI-2, DSI, Display Port, eDP, HDMI, USB, Ethernet, PCIe etc
  • Highly motivated and results oriented individual, with the ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • MSEE
  • Working knowledge of automotive electronic systems, particularly ADAS and Infotainment
  • Previous knowledge of automotive camera and display technologies, EMI/EMC standards, and automotive functional safety
  • Prior knowledge in 100Base-T1 and/or 1000Base-T1 and IEEE802.3 PHY specifications
